But in one recent, crucial decision, the left will have beef with even the liberal wing of the court.
Because all 9 justices voted against an illegal alien, who dared re-enter the United States.

The United States Supreme Court (SCOTUS) on Monday ruled against a criminal illegal alien, previously convicted of felony DUI and deported, seeking to avoid deportation after illegally re-entering the U.S.
Associate Justice Sonia Sotomayor wrote in a 9-0 decision that the “Ninth Circuit’s interpretation is incompatible” with federal statute, ruling against Palomar-Santiago.
This ruling is huge, for several reasons.
First of all, the court is upholding our country’s power to deport criminal aliens. If we left it to Joe Biden, every violent offender will be allowed to stay in the country.
But this ruling from the highest court in the land will set a precedent for many other cases to come. If someone is deported because of a felony and tries to re-enter, they have no legal ground to stand on.
What’s even more amazing is that this ruling was made by all 9 justices. Nobody can claim this was a partisan, politically motived decision.
The entire Supreme Court decided this man had to be deported. This will outrage Democrats who want illegals to stick around, even if they kill someone.
What’s even more shocking is the fact that this man thought he had a right to stay in the country, even after being deported and illegally re-entering.
Where would a man get this kind of crazy idea? The left, of course. They so encourage illegal immigration, even now, that criminals think they are entitled to come here.
And some people wonder why the border is in complete crisis? Democrats are basically rolling out the red carpet for the very worst from around the world.
