The Andrew Cuomo scandal saga has come to an obvious climax.
The Democratic governor—who was accused of harassing female staff—announced he was resigning.
But it seems the story is far from over. We can’t predict Cuomo’s fate in the future (some are calling for criminal charges).
There, however, more coming out—since Cuomo’s downfall.
Biden had previously called on the disgraced colleague to resign. But now that Cuomo’s out of the crosshairs, some people are turning back to old Joe.
And some allegations he thought were gone have come back.
From Fox News:
Tara Reade, the former Senate staffer who alleged last year that Joe Biden sexually assaulted her in 1993, weighed in Tuesday on the stunning resignation of Democratic New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo amid his sexual harassment scandal…
May there be some measure of justice for the survivors. Now, let’s call for a real investigation into Joe Biden and expose the corruption protecting powerful predators.”
Tara Reade is once again calling for an investigation into Joe Biden and his alleged history of harassment.
Reade came out last year with claims that the then-senator assaulted her back in 1993. She even approached the woman’s advocacy group “Time’s Up” for help and representation.
There was ample evidence to Reade’s story to trigger an investigation. Yet those who claimed to champion women were silent.
Now that Cuomo has been exposed and forced to resign, Reader is calling on the government to launch a “real” investigation against Joe Biden.
Before the 2020 election, plenty of people had commented on Joe Biden’s odd behavior. Just before he announced his candidacy, Democrat women had come out with various claims of inappropriate behavior.
It seems the MSM swept all that under the rug, perhaps to protect the candidate.
Perhaps Reade has hope that, if the establishment was able to successfully confront Cuomo (a powerful Democrat), then they could do the same with Joe Biden.
But will they be willing to confront a man they need to keep Donald Trump and conservatives at bay?
